We can help you identify the design potential of a particular property prior to purchase and then work with you to design your new home, prepare the necessary construction documents, coordinate with authorities, manage the consultant team and supervise the construction to provide you with a custom home that is both suited to your family's needs and appropriate to it's location.

Environmentally Responsible Design, Green Building and Alternate Energy

Sunshine Coast Home Design is dedicated to environmentally responsible design and construction and we can advise you of your options regarding materials, methods and alternate energy opportunities. We have been working with solar energy since the mid 1970's and installed one of Canada's first solar heating systems.

3D Computer Models

We use 3D computer modeling to create realistic models of both your property and your proposed new home. These models are easy to use and let you to walk around your home and see clearly what it will look like and how it will fit into the building site allowing us make informed decisions together before ever starting construction.

Internet Access to your Project

Since many of our clients do not live on The Sunshine Coast we have developed an easy to use online application that allows you to access the 3D Models and drawings for your home from anywhere in the world at anytime. This system makes it easy for us to communicate and collaborate on your project no matter what your schedule may be.

Consultant Coordination

We can help you identify, select and coordinate your consultant team, from geotechnical and structural engineering to interior design and finishes. We can also help you with construction bidding, inspections and budget control to make sure that your project meets your expectations.

Document Tracking and Version Control

Our online document distribution system lets us control and track who can see the project documents and when they looked at them. This systems ensures that everyone involved with your project is working from the same documents, keeps everyone on schedule and reduces the risk of costly changes during construction. We currently license this system to more than 2000 design and construction professionals working on more than 600 projects worldwide.
